What the trial gives you?
Free week users can access the full multiplayer features of the game. The full game consists of five different game modes, three large maps to fight on, and four playable classes. The offer is not a tiny demo; it is a proper slice of the live game so you can see how core systems work in real matches.
EA also runs REDSEC as a free-to-play mode. REDSEC is a battle royale-style mode and stays free. But the free week is focused on the main multiplayer modes.
Progress and saves
The progress you make during the trial is saved automatically. If you buy the full Battlefield 6 later, the weapons, attachments, and cosmetic items you got in the trial will be with you. So trying the game now does not waste your time, and you keep what you earned.
Who should try it?
If you are a fan of the series but have doubts about this release, then try the week and see how the new mechanics feel.
If you are new to Battlefield, this is a low-risk entry to learn the pace of large-scale combat. Just keep in mind the free trial covers only multiplayer.
The single-player campaign is not part of this offer. Also note that you will need an account and about 55 GB of free space to install Battlefield 6.

So, put the dates on your calendar, download from your store, and if you feel like it, play. See whether Battlefield 6 matches your playstyle.
