Who is Zhong Kui
For those who don’t know, Zhong Kui is one of the most famous figures in Chinese myths. He was a scholar who suffered injustice and eventually took his own life.
After that, he was made the King of Ghosts to fight evil spirits. People still use his image today as a talisman to protect homes and bring good luck.
GameScience choosing him as the next hero shows they are building a connected world of myths, not just random stories.

What We Know About the Game?
Black Myth Zhong Kui is a single-player action RPG. It is inspired by the story Zhong Kui Banishing Evil . GameScience wants to give new gameplay experiences while also fixing some things from Black Myth: Wukong that fans didn’t like.
The game is still in early development, so there is no release date yet. But after Black Myth: Wukong sold over 10 million copies in just three days, expectations are already very high.
Fans are also happy to hear that Wukong’s story is not finished. New downloadable content (DLC) is still being worked on. So players will get more of Wukong while also enjoying Zhong Kui ’s story.
