Looks like we might finally have a good idea on the Black Ops 7 release date . Activision and Treyarch have been keeping things quiet since the Xbox Games Showcase back in June. But now, some trusted leakers have put out info that gives us a pretty clear picture.
According to billbil-kun from Dealabs, the game is set to launch on November 14, 2025 . This is not coming out of nowhere.

Last month, another well-known Call of Duty insider TheGhostOfHope also mentioned the same date on Twitter/X.
Both have a solid record when it comes to COD leaks, so it’s not just random guessing. Still, it’s not official yet, so keep that in mind.
Black Ops 7 Release Date might have been leaked, here is what we know
Platforms and Physical copies
If the leaks are right, Black Ops 7 will be coming to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One .
It’s been mentioned that it will not be available for the new Nintendo Switch 2 at launch, even though Microsoft had earlier promised COD would come to Nintendo platforms. Maybe it will come later, but nothing is confirmed.

For those who like to own a disc, there’s good news. Reports say physical editions will be there for consoles and they will have an actual disc inside, not just a code in the box. Price is said to be the usual 79.99 USD / 79.99 EUR .
Pre-orders and reveal
Pre-orders for both physical and digital versions are expected to start on August 20, 2025 . This is right after Gamescom’s Opening Night Live on August 19, where many expect the full reveal to happen. This timing makes sense as it will get more attention right after the event.
Multiplayer info
TheGhostOfHope also shared a bit about multiplayer. They say maps will have a more colorful look, similar to Black Ops Cold War. At launch, only three remastered maps from Black Ops 2 will be available, which some fans might not be too happy about.
So, while this is still unofficial, the fact that two trusted sources are saying the same thing makes November 14, 2025 seem very possible for the Black Ops 7 release date . With Gamescom so close, we won’t have to wait long to see if Activision and Treyarch confirm it.
