Fortnite is teaming up with the Wizarding World. The Fortnite collab with the Harry Potter universe brings the Hogwarts-themed cosmetics to the game.
There were leaks about it, but the announcement at The Game Awards on December 11 confirmed it, and players can claim a free Chocolate Frog back bling if they fulfill some requirements.

The collab is a part of Fortnite’s Chapter 7 Season 1 update; the first update is already live with the new Winter Wonderland island.
Following this announcement, Epic Games also launched its Christmas/holiday sale, and the best part is that you can now claim Hogwarts Legacy for free on the Epic Games Store app.
How to Get Hogwarts Legacy for Free? Hogwarts Legacy is free on the Epic Games Store in the Christmas sale running until December 18, 11 AM ET.
Make sure you have the Epic Games Store app installed on your Windows PC. Open the app, and the first thing you will notice is the notifications of the Holiday Sale at the top and, below that, a featured game carousel.
Click on the Get It Free button on the Hogwarts Legacy featured image. You will be redirected to the game store page; click on the Get button.
After that you will be asked to confirm a few details, and the game will be in your Epic Games Library permanently. You can download the game whenever you want; the download size is around 70 GB, and it may require roughly 10 GB of additional storage space.
For the free Fortnite cosmetic, you will have to play Hogwarts Legacy, so choose the right time and download it.

- First, make sure you have the same Epic account used in both Fortnite and Hogwarts Legacy.
- Claim Hogwarts Legacy for free on Epic before the promo ends. (Steps mentioned in the above section)
- Install and play the Hogwarts Legacy game via the Epic Games Launcher for at least 2 hours before December 18, 11 AM ET.
- You can track your playtime on the Epic Games Launcher (Library → three dots on Hogwarts Legacy → “You’ve Played” time).
- After you have completed the basic requirement of 2 hours of playtime, you can open Fortnite, and the free Chocolate Frog back bling will be there in the Locker automatically.

Upcoming Harry Potter/Hogwarts Cosmetics in Fortnite? As mentioned earlier, this is just the tip of the iceberg; there are a number of collab cosmetics coming to Fortnite in the near future.
One of the confirmed announcements is that Fortnite will be adding house-themed customizable Hogwarts outfits to the Item Shop later with the Winterfest update (update 39.11).
Previous teases and leaks also confirm broomstick mythic items and other Wizarding World-related cosmetics with the update.
