How it works?
In a PDF opened in Drive, a new button appears on the top called Audio Overviews. Clicking it presents an option that says “Create now.” The system reads the document and automatically creates a clean, conversational audio summary.
Once the process is complete, it saves the audio file in a separate folder named Audio overviews inside your Drive.

Google will also let you know by email when the summary is ready to play. You can listen to it from your phone, laptop, or any device that can open Drive.

Like with any other new feature, this one comes with a few limitations. You can create only 20 audio overviews per day, and it currently supports only English-language PDFs.
Google also mentioned that this feature is already active for those on the Workspace Rapid Release, while others will get it within the next two weeks. It’s turned on by default, so you don’t have to change any settings.
