Google hoped to set the bar for what its devices can expect and provide, from a breathtaking foldable phone to a retooled AI assistant ecosystem. Here’s your complete breakdown.
1. A New Era: Pixel 10 Family Targets Power, Elegance, and Intelligence
Pixel 10 Pro and XL
Google’s 10th-gen Pixel phones re-imagine what Android can be in a flagship device. The Pixel 10 is the real first upgrade, with its first-ever triple-lens rear setup (wide, ultrawide, telephoto), large 6.3″ OLED display, and a sleek satin finish, which is the product of high-grade aluminum and Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
The Pro XL and Pro, which I reviewed, build on that with the new, powerful Tensor G5 chip, Google’s first made by TSMC. And that results in a significant speed bump and increased on-device AI processing.
The camera systems are unparalleled: Both Pro models are set up for 8K video and are the first to offer “Pro Res Zoom” capabilities up to 100×, a first-of-its-kind capability that is made possible by AI-enhanced zoom algorithms.
Highlights of the hardware include Qi2-based magnetic charging, which brings more seamless wireless power and pairs with accessories such as Google’s new “Pixelsnap” puck and Ring Stand (essentially Apple MagSafe but Android flair). T
he Pixel 10s start at about $799, while the Pro phones are priced from about $999, with the better Pro XL options going even higher.
2. The Showstopper: Pixel 10 Pro Fold
Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold
Google also showed off its most ambitious phone ever, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. This foldable unfolds into an expansive 8″ Super Actua Flex interior display with a 6.4″ cover screen.
And for the first time for the Pixel foldable line, it’s rated for IP68, meaning it’s truly rugged against water and dust, something that’s been all but unheard of in previous generations.
Its hinge has been re-engineered without gears to last longer, and inside, the Tensor G5 chip drives AI features such as Gemini Live and Magic Cue, to make multitasking more intuitive and productive. It’s selling for approximately $1,799 and will be available in Moonstone and Jade.
3. AI on the Move: Gemini Gets Smarter Across Devices

Google’s AI assistant, Gemini, dominated the conversation thanks to new skills that span the entire Pixel universe.
- Magic Cue automatically steps up with appropriate actions based on context–like pulling your flight info when your friend calls or offering a shareable photo when it’s requested.
- It will direct you in real time while you snap that picture already, suggesting better lighting, angles or framing to get the best shot.
- Conversational editing in Google Photos enables you to tell Gemini to make changes to your shots, such as “fix the lighting,” “reframe,” or remove distractions, and see the results straight away.
- Gemini Live raises the bar for visual comprehension by indicating or overlaying information directly on live scenes when you share your camera feed with the AI.
- Live Translate will now also translate phone calls in the caller’s voice in real-time, all on-device for privacy and naturalness.
Gemini for Home is coming to Nest displays and speakers with a more full-featured voice assistant that handles follow-up requests more conversationally.
4. Pixel Watch 4: Smarter, Brighter, More Resilient
Google’s Pixel Watch 4 is a welcome update to its smartwatch line. With its curved “Actua 360” display, capable of 3000-nit peak brightness, trimmed-down bezels, the phone is as much screen as possible with the least borders.
Battery gains are appreciated; the 45 mm model can last about 40 hours on a single charge, and Google has promised that 15 minutes of charging provides up to 15 hours of use.
Under the hood, the watch incorporates Gemini AI, enabling users to have voice-first access to information and health tools through wrist raise.
Safety forward design features Satellite SOS and Loss-of-Pulse, supporting Google’s commitment to safety.

5. Pixel Buds 2a & Buds Pro 2: AI-Powered Audio for Every Budget
Google revamped its earbuds offerings with two key announcements:
- The budget-minded Pixel Buds 2a, which are priced at about $129 (or ₹12,999 in India), add Active Noise Cancellation, Gemini support and a replaceable battery on a design that’s more lightweight and compact. They advertise up to 7 hours of playback with ANC on, and up to 20 hours with the case.
- Pixel Buds Pro 2 also receive updates, moving onto a Moonstone white hue and to get some software with features including Adaptive Audio, Loud Noise Protection, allowing hands-free responses to calls and messages with gestures, with hopes for a global rollout from next month.
6. AI Health Coach: The Next Phase of Wellness
Google expanded its health strategy with an AI Health Coach in the Fitbit app, built using its own Gemini tech and created in partnership with NBA player Stephen Curry.
These personalized buds and coach can shape your workouts, rest-day plans, sleep schedule, and everything in between, according to your goals and conditions. But it also evolves, empowering users to make more informed, sustainable choices as they need to.
7. Seamless Magnetic Charging Takes Shape
Combining the Qi2 standard, Google launched Pixelsnap magnetic charging accessories, considering the ease of use and convenience. Options include:
- A Qi2 Pixelsnap puck and stand (up to 25W on the Pro XL).
- A Pixelsnap Ring Stand that functions as a grip and kickstand to prop up your phone.
- Cases that snap to your accessories via magnets with complete coverage and a variety of styles.
With that, charging your Pixel feels more tactile, adaptable and integrated into your phone’s everyday use.
8. Price, Availability, and Release Timeline
Final Thoughts: The Future Is Predictive, Personalized, Proactive
Google’s Made by Google 2025 event was not only about hardware, it was about a cohesive, AI-first experience. Whether it’s just-in-time Magic Cue, a simple guide to camera settings or an AI coach who thinks and acts like your real-life trainer, Google is baking Gemini throughout the layers of its devices.
This new chapter puts Google on the vanguard of intelligent, anticipatory tech, not waiting for you to tell it what to do, but knowing you, your context, and how to assist you, unasked.
The Pixel 10 line, Watch 4 and Buds 2a are a manifestation of that shift, from passive instruments to active partners within your daily routine.
