If you’re playing ARC Raiders and got stuck on the “Greasing Her Palms” quest, you’re not alone. I spent several raids grinding through it, and I want to share what I learned so you can knock it out faster and with less frustration.
So, this guide takes you clearly through all three high-value objectives, shows you exactly where to go, and gives you my best tips to avoid dying or wasting time.

How to easily complete the “Greasing Her Palms” quest in ARC Raiders?
Objective 1: unlock the locked room in water treatment control

The first part of the “Greasing Her Palms” quest asks you to unlock a special room in the Water Treatment Control building on the Dam Battlegrounds map.
Finding the surveillance key
This key is a random loot drop, which means it won’t always appear in the same container or spot. What I found works best: focus your looting on residential areas or small town zones.
Apartment buildings and office-style complexes tend to have more searchable containers like lockers, cabinets, desks, and small boxes.
Since the key is relatively rare, dedicate a few raids just to looting these zones, extract safely if you don’t get it, and try again.
Using the key at water treatment control
Once you secure the key, head to the Dam Battlegrounds map and locate the Water Treatment Control facility.
Enter the building, take the first turn to your right, then turn right again. You will find the locked door tucked away in the corner on the south side of the building. Use the key to unlock it. Opening the door completes the first objective.
Objective 2: Scope out the rocket thrusters in rocket assembly

With the key objective done, you move on to a recon mission in the Spaceport map.
Travel to the Spaceport map and find the Rocket Assembly point of interest. Your target is the rocket thrusters located just outside the main Rocket Assembly building.
Specifically, you need to walk up to the furthest west thruster (the one farthest to the left if you’re facing the building).
Interact with it or just stand close until the objective updates. Be aware: this zone is extremely exposed and many players and ARCs (hostile NPCs) roam here.
Strategy tip: Equip your best shield or defensive gear. Move in quickly. Use smoke grenades or lure grenades to cover your approach. Don’t linger, get in, scope the thruster, and get out.
Objective 3: Visit the barricaded area on floor 6 in space travel building

This final stage demands more bravery: you’ll be going inside a hostile structure on the Buried City map.
Land on the Buried City map and head for the Space Travel Building, located in the New District area. The building is easier to spot thanks to the large “JKV” logo painted on its roof or side.
Once inside, make your way to floor 6 (you’ll likely pass two flights of stairs). On floor 6 you’ll find the barricaded area, go in and your objective completes.
Combat warning: This is indoor, high-risk region, and you’ll almost certainly encounter ARCs and possibly other players.
Bring your best weapons, ample ammo, and plenty of healing items. Clear rooms methodically, keep your guard up, and don’t rush blindly.
Quest rewards
After you complete all three objectives of “Greasing Her Palms”, you’ll earn some very useful rewards:
- A blueprint for a lure grenade (excellent for distracting enemy groups in future raids)
- Speaker component (important for gear upgrades)
- Electrical components (vital for technical upgrades) Of these, the lure grenade blueprint is the standout item, it gives you a strong tool for future engagements.
Completing “Greasing Her Palms” in ARC Raiders is as much about preparation and survival as it is about following steps. You’ll need luck (for the key drop) and skill (for the recon and indoor combat).

Keep your extraction priority high after each objective. Dying and losing your loot is the fastest way to waste time. Treat each stage like a raid where survival is part of the objective.
