Along with the date, they also dropped a new trailer showing some fresh gameplay. This news has been one of the most asked things in gaming for years, and now it is official.

The reveal happened during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live . Before this, there were small hints that something big was coming, and the fans were right.
The trailer showed off the new world called Pharloom , and also gave more focus to Hornet , the main playable character this time.
Hornet moves faster and has a more acrobatic style compared to the Knight from the first game. The trailer also showed some of her new abilities and the different enemies players will have to face.
People who attended the event could try out a demo version. It was actually an updated build of the 2019 demo, but even then it was one of the busiest spots at the show.
