Step 1: Go to the account for which you want to download the DP.
Step 2: On the top-right, you will see three dots, click on it, and select ‘Copy Profile URL’. If you are using it on your PC, just visit the account and copy the URL in the address bar.
Step 3: Now go to Chrome browser and paste the URL.
Step 4: You will see the profile, right-click on the DP or hold on it and you will see the option to ‘Open image in new tab’ or ‘Download image’, You can select either of them.

This is a method that involves you to visit Instadp site to download Instagram DP. And here is how you do it.
