What “LEGO Fortnite” Includes Right Now?
When I say “LEGO Fortnite,” I don’t just mean one game mode. Here in 2025, there are three main By Epic experiences alongside an expanding slate of officially LEGO Group and community islands:
- LEGO Epic Fortnite Odyssey : Craft/survival/sandbox world with biomes, villages, crafting, dungeons, vehicles, fast travel and more.
- LEGO Fortnite Brick Life : a persistent social city (“Brick Bay”) where you take jobs, earn Creds, pick a home, and decorate.
- LEGO Fortnite Expeitions : a co-op, mission-based action game where your squad battles to complete objectives and clear threats in zones.
- LEGO category (Discover) : the LEGO row in Discover shows you the above, and also official LEGO Group and fan creator-made islands you can join by name or island code.

How to Enter Island/Map Codes (quick & current)
You can jump to any published island from the Discover screen:
- Start Fortnite > click the magnifying Glass near the play button.
- Enter the name of the island or the 12-digit code into the search bar.
- Choose the island and hit Play .
Tip: For Epic experiences like Odyssey, Brick Life, and Expeditions, you may simply search the title if a numeric code is not provided on their page.
LEGO Fortnite Map & Locations: Odyssey
Odyssey is to LEGO Fortnite what survival/sandbox is to LEGO! Every world is procedurally generated, but that procedural generation is always a mix of a certain set of biomes and types of location. Here is what to expect, and how to read your map.
Biomes you’ll see (and why they matter)
- Grasslands : the gentlest start. First food source, Starter wood and Stone, Typical Caves for Knotwood. Good first village site.
- Dry Valley (desert) : hot during the day and cool at night; lots of Flexwood (vehicle unlocks) and Slap Berries. Bring heat protection or make it.
- Frostlands (snow) : tough, cold, but Frostpine (car unlocks) and endgame loot live here. Carry warmth or make it.
- Shores/Beaches & water : borderlands of raspberries, fish, and safe travel corridors that link the major biomes together.
Resource highlights (so you don’t wander aimlessly):
- Flexwood > find in Dry Valley ; needed for Offroader.
- Frostpine > Frostlands ; unlocks the Hauler.
- Power Cells > crafted after you discover Biomass via the Compost Bin ; fuel for vehicles. Glass can drop from bandit camps.
Caves, ruins & what your map shows
Caves are all over the place; your map even marks them with a mountain icon when you’re nearby. Look around in Grasslands, Dry Valley, or Frostlands for round, gray rock mounds with only one entrance. You’ll find spiders, brutes, and the resources needed for mid-tier gear.
You will also find ruins and small buildings. Some spawn roaming NPCs or combat pockets; good for quick loot, a bit of variety while exploring.
Travel: from footpaths to fast travel
- Vehicles : The Speeder, Offroader, and Hauler become available as you gather the relevant materials (Power Cells, Flexwood, Frostpine). You can also kitbash your own custom rides with wheels, thrusters, seats, and a Power Center.
- Launch Pads: fast vertical mobility:-place, jump, glider; great for spanning a ravine, also great for climbing mesas.
- Bus Stations (fast travel) : connect your world with insta-hops between stations; you can even smash one to get Rift Shards to build your own.
Villages, modes & difficulty
Creating villages near the edge of biomes (grassland edge by dry valley) to shorten resource runs. If you have a hunger for stakes, you can drop down to Expert Mode (permadeath world, Storm-Wild enemies, trophies by biome) or chill out in Cozy Mode for a more laid-back loop.
LEGO Fortnite Map & Locations: Brick Life (Brick Bay)
Brick Life exchanges one of survival for a functioning LEGO city, Brick Bay, with named districts, jobs and homes you can buy and even decorate. Think “life sim,” not “survival.”
Downtown Brick Bay
You start off outside Harmonious Hall, and then the game splits into groups of landmarks and paid gigs:
- Chairs, etc. (decor showroom) to browse, test, and buy furnishings.
- Watch-o-Plex theater – grab shifts with Kerney Poppy to earn Creds.
- Funk Ops Party Perch (rooftop club), Durrr Burger (become a line cook with Beef Boss ), and Bobom Milk Tea (work as a Bobarista for Helsie ).
Beach & Pier
A long sandy stretch lines the east coast. Pick up Courier work at the Dispatch Center (chat up Sizzle Sgt.), walk the pier or head south to the Fortnite Forever Festival Grounds and the luxe Le Swan Hautel. Beachside establishments included:
- Cozy Paws Café (pet Churro the cat; Summer Skye hires baristas).
- MeowSwole’s Gym (protein shakes, lift weights; Meowscles hires Personal Trainers ).
- RoboRoll Sushi (conveyor-belt Sushi; Kit & Katt hire Sushi Chefs ).

Park & Suburbs
To the south of downtown is a quieter area with dozens of homesites, a lake and a waterfall. Check out the Trot Lot to make friends with some horses or become a Stable Hand for Roan. Continue exploring for the giant chess garden and comfy hang spots.
Mourndale Academy District
East of downtown, Mourndale Academy (home of the Crows) is the center of a tree-lined academic neighborhood. To become a Student, chat to Isabelle, then meander over to Phaedra’s Fortunes to indulge in some animal time and become a Fortune Teller.

Expeditions is the “let’s squad and do missions” slice of LEGO Fortnite. You will join a hub, queue into objectives, move through increasingly difficult zones and clear threats to reach rewards. If you’re a gamer who thrives in action games more than urban life or freeform survival, then this is your lane.
How it plays: team up, take missions, dive deeper as difficulty increases, and bring the loot/unlocks back out across LEGO Fortnite.
