At first look, Little Nightmares 3 feels very close to what we already know. The dark tone, creepy atmosphere, and lonely world are all here.
The two new characters, Low and Alone , move through a world that feels sad but beautiful. You can feel their connection as they travel together through empty cities, deserts, and a twisted carnival that looks both creative and disturbing. The art design is one of the best parts of the game, every frame looks like a scary painting.

Gameplay: good but uneven
The gameplay in Little Nightmares 3 mostly follows the same formula. You sneak around, solve puzzles, and try to stay alive.
The early parts of the game feel a bit too easy and predictable. Some puzzles don’t feel smart; they just ask you to pull a lever or move a box from one place to another. It’s not bad, but it feels less exciting compared to the earlier games.
One of the biggest new features is the online co-op mode . You can play with a friend; one controls Low , and the other controls Alone .
It sounds great, but the team didn’t really make full use of it. The co-op parts are too simple, and most of the time, you don’t have to think together or solve things in a creative way.
The second half is much better
The good thing is, once you reach the middle of Little Nightmares 3 , the game gets much better. The world becomes more open, the story gets deeper, and the puzzles finally feel more creative.
The last few chapters are especially strong. The monsters are weird and memorable, and the camera work feels more alive.
It moves with the story and makes everything more intense. This is where the game truly feels like Little Nightmares again.

Overall, in the end, Little Nightmares 3 is not perfect, but it’s still a very good entry in the series. The visuals and story are beautiful, even when the gameplay sometimes feels weak.
Supermassive Games clearly understands what makes this world special. The game might not beat the older ones, but it keeps the same soul that made the series famous. When it’s good, it’s really good, and it reminds you why we all love this strange little nightmare.
