Covering every era of TMNT
This crossover is not just a small addition. It plans to include all major versions of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles .
That means fans will see designs based on the original dark and gritty comics, the classic 80s cartoon, the live-action movies, and the newer animated reboots. Each part of the TMNT legacy will be represented in some way.
At New York Comic Con 2025 , Wizards of the Coast gave fans the first look at some of the upcoming cards.
As expected, all four turtles Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo are part of the set. Each turtle comes with its own unique card design and abilities that fit their personalities and fighting styles.
The company has not revealed if the set will include references to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video games , but many fans are hoping that could be added in future updates or expansions.

Collector’s highlight: signed kevin eastman card
One of the biggest announcements is the reveal of a special collector’s card signed by Kevin Eastman , the co-creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
This chase card features the original black and white comic art, making it one of the most valuable items in the set.
Collectors are already showing a lot of interest in it, calling it a must-have piece for any TMNT or Magic fan.
Expectations for the set
The Magic community still remembers how big the Spider-Man crossover was, though many players later said it didn’t explore the universe deeply enough.
With TMNT’s long history and different versions over 40 years, expectations are much higher this time. Fans want a set that not only celebrates the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise but also feels meaningful within the Magic game itself.
MTG’s 2026 lineup
With this reveal, Wizards of the Coast has now confirmed the full lineup for Magic: The Gathering’s 2026 schedule.

There will be seven main sets in total, ending the year with another big crossover based on Star Trek . While these licensed sets attract new audiences, some older players have shared that they miss the traditional fantasy settings that Magic is known for.
Overall, even with that, the TMNT set seems like one of the strongest releases for next year. It blends nostalgia, strong artwork, and new gameplay elements, giving both collectors and players something to look forward to.
