The maintenance started today at 9 AM UTC. For India that is 2:30 PM IST, and for the US East Coast it’s 5 AM EDT.
They said it will take around 2 to 3 hours, but it can also take longer if something comes up. Once the servers are back, you will have to download the new patch before playing again.
Marvel Rivals Season 3.5 Update: Blade Arrives, New Events and Gameplay Changes
What’s coming in Season 3.5
The main highlight is Blade. Yes, the daywalker is now a playable hero in the game. It’s not only about Blade though.
There is also new lore for Blade, Iron Man, and Rocket Raccoon. If you are into the story parts, you will like this.

There is a Queen’s Codex event that is starting with this update. It has free and paid rewards. One of the big ones is a Symbiote skin for The Thing.
Gameplay is also getting changes. A new map called Throne of Knull is being added. They are making penalties tougher for players who quit ranked matches early. Chat moderation is improved too, so less spam and toxic stuff.
Another thing is Twitch Drops . If you watch certain streams, you can get a Mantis costume. Just watch, and it will drop into your account.
When will the servers be back?
If things go as planned, servers should be online around 12 PM UTC. That is 5:30 PM IST in India and 8 AM EDT on the US East Coast. But like I said, it can get delayed. It’s best to check the Marvel Rivals X page or Discord for live updates.
This Marvel Rivals Season 3.5 update feels like a big one. Blade joining is the major pull for most players, but the events and gameplay changes will also keep people busy.
The downtime might be boring, but it’s needed so the update works fine. Once it’s done, download the patch, and you are good to go.
