Microsoft - 1

Microsoft is working hard to make the launch of Xbox Series X successful and for that, it has a lot of good things coming up for the same. The company is also planning on a different tangent compared to Sony.

Xbox chief Phil Spencer mentions that Xbox Series X will no longer be the star of the Xbox’s strategy. This suggests that the company is not just limiting itself to the gaming console only and it is planning to expand on other areas like Project xCloud. This also suggests that the company’s new focus is more on the cloud gaming sector.

In content, we are delivering differentiated, first and third-party content to attract and retain gamers. Xbox Series X will launch this fall with the largest launch lineup for any console ever. And Minecraft reached a new high of nearly 132 million monthly active users during the quarter”.

Microsoft also took off the 12-month subscription for the Xbox Live Gold. They simply want users to focus more on the Game Pass that will have xCloud. Project xCloud is one of the most anticipated launches and it will probably come first on the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra so it will be exciting to see.
