Motorola Signature - 1

Moto’s new premium flagship lineup is already teased for a January 7 launch in India, and a new marketing image confirms that the Motorola Signature lineup will support a stylus as well.

Earlier leaks and rumors hinted at pen support, but the new poster makes it much clearer that the Signature (likely a rebranded Edge 70 Ultra) will support a stylus, with a good chance that the stylus ships in the box.

What is this new stylus angle? A new leaked poster shared by YTECHB shows not only the new stylus but also a whole new bunch of products to follow the Signature design and style.

In the image, two phone finishes stand out: the earlier teased Martini Olive-style design and a brand-new crystal-studded Edge 70 Swarovski Edition.

Alongside the phones, a broader ecosystem also shows up in the poster, including the new Moto Stylus, a smartwatch, a Moto tag (likely Moto Tag 2), and a Bluetooth speaker.

If this plays out as expected, the new Signature flagship will be the first non-foldable series from Motorola to include the official stylus support, confirming earlier rumors of stylus compatibility.

What do we already know about the Motorola Signature? The smartphone has been doing the rounds online for a while, through leaks, rumors, and official teasers via the company’s social media platforms and a dedicated microsite at Flipkart.

As mentioned earlier, the new Motorola Signature flagship is likely to be a rebranded Edge 70 Ultra with some tweaks to the materials, finish, and branding.

Motorola is clearly positioning it as a premium smartphone ; the Flipkart microsite mentions terms like “signature fabric finish” and “a symbol of luxury” to describe the design.

And it is being marketed as a new “Signature” design language with Carbon and Martini Olive‑style finishes rather than just another Edge‑branded variant.

Under the hood, performance-wise, the smartphone is packed with all the flagship-level hardware. Leaked Geekbench listings suggest a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC paired with up to 16 GB of RAM, putting it in line with other 2026 top‑tier Android phones.

Motorola is indirectly positioning itself as a direct competitor of Android flagships like the OnePlus 15, the iQOO 15, and, with the new stylus support, the Samsung Galaxy S Ultra as well.

Display-wise, the Signature is speculated to have similar tech to what we’ve already seen in the regular Edge 70 series. Leaks point to a 6.7‑inch 1.5K 120 Hz OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, tweaked a little bit to feel more “Signature‑grade.”

On the camera side, reports suggest it will feature a triple 50 MP rear camera setup with a larger camera island (than the regular Edge 70). Leaks also suggest a wide, an ultrawide, and a telephoto/periscope sensor at the rear setup for more flagship imaging.

When is it coming, and what is still unknown? From previous rumors and Motorola India’s official teaser posts , the new Signature flagship is scheduled to launch in India on January 7, 2026.

Past collaborations and the current teasers indicate that Flipkart will once again be the online platform to host the initial launch and sale of the new Motorola Signature flagship.

One big question mark is how Motorola plans to present the new Stylus; it is still unclear whether the pen will sit in a built-in silo or be offered as a separate accessory.

From the competition standpoint, it will be best for Motorola to bundle the stylus with the smartphone; it doesn’t matter whether it is packed inside the unit like the Galaxy S Ultra or an accessory inside the smartphone packaging.

Since Motorola is trying to compete in the flagship market, the new additions in the Signature, like the premium design, top-tier SoC, the stylus, and the periscope camera, will surely play better if the pricing is set right.
