It works with popular services like Dropbox, Google Drive, and Microsoft Teams. It also supports something called MCP servers which lets you connect with almost any app or data source.
Safety is also built in, it stops agents from leaking personal data or doing bad things like ransomware. If a company wants to put these agents on their websites, they can use ChatKit with simple JavaScript to make it work.

Apps in ChatGPT: bring external services inside
The second big thing is Apps in ChatGPT . This lets developers add external apps straight into ChatGPT using an open-source SDK.
This means you could connect Spotify and ask ChatGPT to make a playlist, or use Booking.com to plan a trip and book hotels all in chat. There will be an App directory soon to see all apps in one place.
For now, this is not available in the European Union because of strict regulations. OpenAI is being careful so EU users will have to wait a bit longer.
