What is ChatGPT Health?

It is a dedicated section in the ChatGPT app that focuses on health and wellness-specific queries and their responses; once available, it will appear in the left sidebar.
Unlike general ChatGPT responses, Health is specifically optimized for health queries and can connect to your personal health ecosystem.
OpenAI is partnering with most of the health and fitness companies around the globe to enhance and ease the user experience with more accurate data. Once available, users will be able to connect their Apple Health, MyFitnessPal, Function, etc. accounts to get richer data.
Combined with the app data and the user’s other medical records, the app will become a powerhouse and will be able to answer most of your health- and wellness-related queries.

How Accurate Is ChatGPT Health?
OpenAI has been working with over 260 physicians around the world for over two years and trained the new AI model with more than 600,000 medical responses to make sure the users get a better solution.
The system is designed to recognize its limitations; the AI model is trained to instruct the users to visit a real doctor when needed or to encourage users to follow up with a visit to a clinician.
Is Your Medical Data Safe?
It is a major concern among the privacy-conscious individuals, since you ought to upload your medical records and connect with a fitness app for better and more accurate responses.
Obviously, your data will be uploaded to online servers and run by the AI model, but OpenAI says the new ChatGPT Health is separate from the other ChatGPT functions, and it is isolated and secure with data encryption.
OpenAI also claims that the data uploaded by the user or the data gathered from the apps connected to ChatGPT Health will not be used for training their AI models.
To enhance data security, OpenAI is also partnering with b.well, a leading health data curator for US consumers that adheres to the highest industry standards in data privacy and security.

Availability & rollout status?
The feature is currently available to “a small group of early users” randomly for testing, but OpenAI mentioned that the feature won’t be available in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom for now.
The feature is not bound by any premium plan; once available, it will be open to use for all the ChatGPT tiers, like Free, Go, Plus, and Pro. For now you can join the waitlist to get the feature as soon as it is available publicly, most likely in beta.
✓ Works with all ChatGPT tiers ✓ No additional cost ✓ Beta status (early access) ✓ Not available yet in EU/UK/Switzerland
How to Try It Now?
You can check whether the feature is available for you or not by visiting the ChatGPT app; you will notice a new Health section in the left sidebar, in mobile hidden under the hamburger menu.
