I was just going through some of the usual pre-launch buzz, and something caught my eye. Turns out, Google made a bit of a mistake.
A banner on the Google Play Store gave away almost everything about the upcoming Pixel 10 Pro Series . It wasn’t even a small leak; it was the whole deal.

The image was visible right inside the Play Store app for some users on Android. This happened way before the official launch, which is planned for August 20 . So yeah, a major slip.

What exactly was leaked?
The banner showed the full Pixel 10 Pro Series lineup. That includes:
- Pixel 10
- Pixel 10 Pro
- Pixel 10 Pro XL
- and the new Pixel 10 Pro Fold
Honestly, that’s a lot to give away before the event even happens. It’s not just the names either. The designs and color options were all visible, too.

Color choices this time
So the regular Pixel 10 is coming in this clean-looking Indigo shade. The higher-end models, Pixel 10 Pro , Pro XL , and Pro Fold , are going to be available in a color called Moonstone . It looks more subtle and premium. Not flashy, but neat.
There’s also a launch offer
Something else showed up in the banner. Looks like Google is planning a $50 discount as a launch promo. It says the offer will run until October 13, 2025 . I’m guessing it’ll go live right after the August 20 event.
This isn’t confirmed by Google yet, but based on how these things usually go, it’s likely.
What to expect from the launch
So far, Google has only officially teased the Pixel 10 Pro , but this leak basically confirms everything. If the leak is accurate (and it really looks like it is), then we’ll see four different models at the event. That’s a lot more variety than usual. And with the early discount in place, Google’s clearly trying to push sales from day one.
This whole thing pretty much takes the surprise out of the launch. But in a way, it also builds more hype. Now we know what’s coming, what it looks like, and even what deals to expect.
The full Pixel 10 Pro Series looks ready to go, and Google’s probably not too happy about the leak, but it’s out there now. Let’s see what more they reveal on August 20.
