After months of leaks & rumors , POCO has finally launched the F5 series Globally & in India. Since it’s series, there are two devices, i.e., the vanilla F5 and the F5 Pro. Now before we start, one thing to note here is that the company has only launched the vanilla F5 in India, whereas Global gets both the Vanilla and F5 Pro.
Now that we have that out of the way let us take a look at the Design of the F5 series.

POCO F5 Pro Design
As for the front, the POCO F5 Pro has a big display upfront, minimal bezels all around, and a bit of chin at the bottom. The Power button & volume rockers are on the right; the left is left clean. Type-C port at the bottom. There’s a centered punch-hole camera at the front as well.
For the Back, There’s a triple rear camera inside a rectangular camera module with LED Flash, and the device has a diagonal pattern at the back. The company branding is in line with the rear cameras.

POCO F5 Pro features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz re-fresh rate & 3200x1440P resolution, 480Hz touch sampling rate, 1400 nits peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 for protection.
Under the hood, The device is powered by last year’s flagship processor, i.e., Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with 8/12GB RAM & 128/256/512GB with UFS 3.1 Storage. Runs on MIUI 14, based on Android 13. The phone comes with a multi-layer liquid cooling system. The F5 Pro comes in two color options – Black and White.
For the optics, there’s a triple rear camera at the back, which includes a 64MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture & optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro lens. As for the front, there’s a 16MP with an f/2.45 aperture selfie shooter.
The handset has a 5,160mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging (This makes it the First POCO phone to get Wireless charging).

The POCO F5 Pro also features Stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, a Side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Dolby Atmos, an IR blaster, and is IP53 rated.

POCO F5 Design
As we already know the design of the device so, let’s re-visit it quickly POCO F5 reveals a big display up front with minimal bezels all around & small chin.
There’s a centered punch-hole camera up front. The power button & volume rockers are on the right. Also, the fingerprint sensor is embedded in the power button itself.
As for the back, there’s a triple rear camera setup, with each lens having its housing. The LED Flash is just next to the cameras, and the company branding aligns with the cameras at the bottom left.
POCO F5 Specifications
The vanilla POCO F5 features the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz re-fresh rate but comes with a 2400×1080 resolution and 480Hz touch sampling rate. Also, the peak brightness is capped at 1000 nits.
Under the hood, the device is Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset (which makes the Poco F5 the first phone in India with the processor). The vanilla variant comes in 8/12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 Storage.
Runs on MIUI 14, based on Android 13, and the handset comes in three color options – Electric Blue, SnowStorm White, and Carbon Black.
For the cameras, Both devices feature the same camera setup & configuration, i.e., a 64MP main camera lens, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP Macro lens. For the front, there’s a 16MP selfie shooter.
Well, the vanilla POCO F5 comes with a slightly less battery than its Pro sibling, i.e., a 5,000mAh battery but has the same 67W fast wired charging. There’s no Wireless charging on the vanilla POCO F5.

The leak has come from the Youtube Channel RevAtlas . Although those clips were sent to him anonymously. He didn’t claim it to 100% verified but it seems to be a bit legit as we already have the announcement from Manu Kumar Jain.

As according to the image, the front looks like something Note 7 series and Note 8 series from Redmi. At this time I don’t have much information about the other information.
But the waterdrop notch with a thick bezel at the bottom actually suggests that it will be in the affordable mid-range segment. As suggested by the unknown leakster, the device will be powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 SoC.

According to the hearsay, Poco F2 Lite will run on Android 10 with custom MIUI 11 custom skin for Poco. Along with this, the device is most likely to offer a 48/64MP primary camera, accompanied by an ultra-wide-angle or a telephoto lens.
As we already have seen a good battery in Poco F1 i.e., 4000 mAh, then we also can expect at least 4000 mAh or more than it in the Poco F2 Lite. But according to the leak, it is expected to have a 5000 mAh battery.
Regarding the price, as it includes a “lite” in its name, then we can expect the pricing to be less than 20000 INR in the Indian market for the least 6 GB and 64 GB variant.
