Mega Sharpedo Comes to Raids
The biggest news for Pokemon GO September 2025 is Mega Sharpedo . It will be available on a special Raid Day on September 7 , from 2 PM to 5 PM local time .
During this three-hour event, your chance to get a shiny Mega Sharpedo is higher than normal. But remember, you will only know if it is shiny after you finish the raid. So make sure to plan ahead and grab your raid passes.

Mega Raid Schedule for September
There is also a Mega Raid rotation that is coming back in September. You can catch a lot of strong Mega Pokémon if you take part in raids. Here is the schedule for Pokemon GO September 2025 :
- September 2 to 9 : Mega Venusaur, Mega Charizard X and Y, Mega Blastoise
- September 9 to 16 : Mega Pidgeot, Mega Gyarados
- September 16 to 23 : Mega Gardevoir, Mega Latias, Mega Latios, Mega Gallade
- September 23 to 30 : Mega Kangaskhan, Mega Lopunny
- From September 30 : Mega Steelix, Mega Scizor, Mega Lucario
So you see, every week there will be different Mega Pokémon. This is good because you can try to catch them all and also get their special Mega bonuses.

Kanto Celebration and New Season
The new season in Pokemon GO September 2025 starts on September 2 with a Kanto Celebration . During this event, Pokémon from the Kanto region will appear more often in the wild. That means you can catch some classics easily and also get Pokémon for your evolutions.

Weekly Spotlight Hours
Every Tuesday in September, there will be Spotlight Hours from 6 PM to 7 PM local time . Each week a different Pokémon will be highlighted.
The lineup is: Pidgey, Trubbish, Gothita, Hoothoot, and Aron. During Spotlight Hour, you will find these Pokémon more often and sometimes there are extra rewards too.
September is going to be packed in Pokemon GO September 2025 . Mega Sharpedo is the big attraction but the Kanto Celebration and the Mega Raids make it very exciting.
