If you’ve been on YouTube and searched Rocket League stuff, you’ve probably come across his channel. His real name is Jared Zook.

He doesn’t play in RLCS or anything like that. He makes good content—simple, funny, and kind of smart too.

He makes videos like “Why You Suck at Rocket League,” which is kinda funny but also useful if you’re trying to improve.

He also does challenges, community events, and experiments inside the game. Stuff like testing weird game modes or calling out toxic players.

He’s not showing off like most high-ranked pros. He just connects with regular players like me and probably you. And that’s probably why Psyonix picked him for this.

How to Get the Title

To get the free title , you literally just have to open Rocket League before July 23. Then do this:

  • Go to Profile from the main screen
  • Choose Banner
  • Click on the tag icon
  • Pick “Sunless Video Participant” and that’s it

No need to do anything else. It’s a small thing, but still kind of cool to have if you’re a fan of the guy.

Why This Even Matters

A lot of games forget the people who build the community outside of competitions. This time, Psyonix is saying thanks to a creator who actually helped grow the game for years.

SunlessKhan has made Rocket League fun for players who aren’t super competitive. His videos are a break from tryhard stuff and remind you that the game is just fun. The title is just a small nod to that, but still — it’s nice to see.

So yeah, not a huge deal, but if you like Rocket League and know SunlessKhan, it’s worth logging in and grabbing the free title. You’ll find it in your profile.

Honestly, I like it when game devs do stuff like this. Not everything needs to be about ranks and leaderboards. Sometimes it’s just about the people who make the game fun to come back to.
