After a month of teasers and fan theories, the developers finally confirmed the next big update for Sims 4 . The new Adventure Awaits Expansion Pack was shown in detail on September 25 during a livestream.
Players got to see the main features, new skills, and the return of a fan favourite from previous Sims titles. The pack is now set for release on October 2.

One of the most asked features from the community has been venues that can be customised. The stream explained how players can design and set up their own travel spots in Sims 4 .
The system also allows for role assignment for Sims during trips, giving players better control when they send their Sims on getaways.
The update is not only about travel. It also introduces playgrounds that can be built with modular items. Slides, platforms and other pieces can be combined to make unique play areas for kids in the game .

Imaginary Friends are Back

Papercraft and More Creativity
Another addition is the new Papercraft skill . As Sims level it up they can craft origami and paper mache items. These can be used to decorate a home or given as gifts to other Sims.
The livestream also showed extra activities like smoothie making and competitions that focus on creativity. All of these new features give more personalization to venues and family gameplay.
